Anxious monster, is entry no.1 for the new fontmonster book entitled Human?
It compares the anxious state of mind with seamonsters and being under water, when it's hard to breathe. The typeface is a continuation of the concept typeface for the MASS MoCA exhibition and catalog Becoming Animal.The version I ended up using for that is a hybrid typeface. The monsters were drawn freehand and converted to vector illustrations.
