For the Becoming Animal catalog I created This typeface. It is constructed solely of countless silhouetes of bugs, reptiles and other animals. The concept was to give a creepy critter feel to the titles without literally showing any animal forms or icons. I ended up using it for the catalog in a different form, a hybrid with an existing serif typeface, and developed this one for the new freeware book by David Luscombe entitled Human?.
